Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Many parishes have used the CaFE resources to supplement RCIA. These videos can be an excellent way to help those who are considering becoming a member of the Catholic Church especially if they are run in the recommended 'cafe style' as this can encourage sharing and the bonding of a small group. The flexibility of the videos means that individual talks from the different series can be used to complement the teaching from the Catechists or to add additional information.

  Knowing God Better

This series is a perfect introduction to video based catechesis. The style of the course is relaxed, with humour, and the content has helped many grow in their understanding of faith and the Church. The aim of this series is to reveal God's love in a deeper and more personal way for Catholics.  Many have commented on the profound effect it has had on them.

Knowing God even Better

A further series by David Payne is aimed at taking people deeper into the riches of the Church and helping Catholics get even more from their faith.  There is a talk on each person of the  Trinity. The series gives practical ways of strengthening a daily prayer life and how to share our faith with others.

  Exploring the Catholic Church

An inspiring series that looks particularly at the Sacraments and the Mass. It is packed with information and teaching that is accessible and easy to understand. It is ideal for those that are new to the Church and for refreshing the hearts and minds of the faithful.

Catholics Making a Difference

This video course challenges Catholics to consider their social responsibilities in the world. The wide variety of speakers means the input is varied and is powerful in its presentation. It not only draws attention to injustice in the world but also gives practical suggestions as to what can be done.

  Catholics Listening to God

These videos explain the three foundations of the Church; Scripture, Tradition and Teaching. As a biblical scholar who worked for a number of years within the Vatican, Bishop Mark is an excellent guide to unwrap these life-giving subjects.

                                                         Life In Christ

This series will be a blessing for established Catholics who want to journey deeper in to the Bible. This commentary on the book of Romans will provide plenty of food for discussion within a small group.

Drink from the Wells of the Church

Fr. Raniero gives a preached retreat on video that provides us with profound and excellent teaching. For mature Catholics, this series can change the way people understand and pray through the Mass.

This Is My Body

An engaging video resource designed to inform, inspire and raise prayerful discussion about the great gift of the Mass.  It includes two new sessions showing a filmed meditation on the Mass which is narrated by David Payne (Director of CaFE) based on the book ‘This is my Body’ by the late Fr Ian Petit OSB. There are testimonies, interviews with the celebrant, and musical, prayerful response times and opportunities throughout for group discussion.
