I’ve learnt that you can have a good conversation
with God. And Church isn’t as boring as people make it out to be.
I’ve discovered how important God is in my life.
The way Fr Stan spoke about things and how he described it made it easy
to understand.
I enjoy Church now. Everything I thought
about it, like it was boring, I don’t think that anymore. |
| I’ve learnt that God loves me. He thinks I’m
amazing, and I am never alone.
I liked Fr Stan, he’s not old fashioned and he relates to young people.
Youth CaFE has changed my life because now I enjoy Church.
Youth CaFE's taught me you don’t have to be afraid to say you believe in
God.

The things I particularly liked were Fr Stan
and the personal stories. Fr Stan is good for young people, amusing and
raises modern day points and relates them to the Bible, and what is
right to do. The personal stories help give encouragement to people that
may be similar situations. The course has made my faith stronger. Some
things have also made me question how I’m living my life and if I’m
doing what’s right. |
| It helped me understand some of the things
that form the basis of my faith, which I have never had time to find out
the answers to. By doing this course I
have seen God in a different light. I now know that he influences
everything I do.
We don’t usually get chance in day to day life to think about this kind
of thing so it’s been a really useful thing to do.

Before Youth CaFE I went to Mass coz we went
to MacDonalds after…now I realize it’s important, I go willingly now coz
it’s important. I don’t spend my days at school talking about God and
Mass, its good to come here and talk about it without being laughed at.
It’s made me look at it differently…what Church means…its important. It
means more to me than just a place I’ve got to go.
Fr Stan…he knows how to speak in our generations language – slang and
stuff. YouthCaFE brought us together to discuss Jesus in an
understandable way…its taught me how to appreciate him.
